Micropoems by Erika Luz de Dios
I SEE THE LIGHT
I begin to observe
and I see the stones...
I start to walk
and I see the path...
I keep going
and I see the Light.
□
SELF-RECOGNITION
Re-discovering myself,
I hug myself,
I love myself,
I recognise myself.

Pretense
"Everyone who walks
through the crowd with you
is happy",
you say.
I know you pretend,
but I like your catch,
beloved my friend!
□
Honey
How well you speak
under the honeycomb on the moon!
Honey is dripping
from your lips.
You attract me magnetically
under swarms from stars.
□
Flow
The water fills rivers, oceans,
it flies with snowflakes,
pulsates in our blood.
The life rushes - a speedily river -
flows between roses and disappears!

Pearls
I drank my tears
To hide my pain,
But the ocean of tears
overflows the heart
To activate the soul
Made pearls of lessons
To buckle up for a beautiful beginning!
□
Thorns
I tried to uproot
Thorns of pain
From the garden of my heart
But the flower of love said,
Touch me not!
□
Heartbeats
My heartbeats
Fast with fear
Faster with a strenuous workout
And fastest
With your one glimpse!
