I surrendered complete!

The jingling of her anklets

Mingled with the music of the river

On that autumn eventide

The horizon a canvas carmine

As the capricious drizzle fell

In my bosom you hid to melt!

TWO TORRID SOULS 

Flushed with amour

The fervent heart heaved

Honey laced stories weaved

Ancient music floated from afar

Desires swelled to kiss the stars

Two torrid souls hold no bar!

LOVE COLOURS 

A feverish feel, a feral gasp

On charcoal night sprinkle stardust!

A camelia blossoms in a desert

Sweet aches transform into art

Love colours the bland soul

The lonesome becomes whole!

Blond moon

slowlymeasures

the blue sky,

Our love deep

bliss in life dry.

Eminent Poetess Evica Kraljić was born in Nova Gradiška. She wrote her first song at the age of twelve.
