Seven Modern Haiku on Early Summer by Jennifer Gurney

diaphanous mist
wafts up from the morning lake
sublimation

a clear freshet
bursts from my drain spout
early summer squall

that first bite of
juicy watermelon
summertime bliss

patio dinners
with candlelight and music
simply taste better

so warm I open
the sliding glass door and
in saunters summer

breeze wafts branches
sunlight dances on bricks
patio dappled

i wake to you
the promise of summer
with a lighter heart

Two Micropoems by Ledarose Santos Delima

MEMORIES
A glimpse of memories
Those happy moments we had
The love and kissed ignite
It will forever remain
never change
But people do.
RISE UP
On this rocky steep road
I may stumble or fall
Tumble and topple
But surely, I won't stop
Until I get on the top.

Six Modern Haiku by Daipayan Nair

after rain —
the lady arranges
her fruit cart

slum sunset —
she adds her pitcher
to the queue
□
harvest drumbeat —
the worker grabs another
sunflower head
□
cornfield stretch —
each tractor carries
a cloud

receding waters —
a bullfrog jumps onto
the driver's seat

slice of sunrise —
the cart puller wipes
the next spoke

Two Micropoems by Florencia Juson Dayao

Because
If I had to choose
the river or the sea
I only know
how to swim in the river
It is difficult to risk
oneself in the sea
Because of its depth I can drown!

Only You Understand
Not everything you hear is true
Especially and only from whom
Just let yourself go
Because only you understand
What is bad and good!

Three Micropoems by Veronica Roma Pingol

Love
Things may perfect
When your heart is happy and fine
Love is not to untie
Love is divine,
Every heart filled  with happiness
is the only reason for success!

Blessing
A real heart is a blessing to someone
In dim and agony
To those in pain or in sorrow,
A genuine love can walk pass through
With it, that well notice the emotions to release
You are blessed and a blessing to yourself
And to the world with grace...!

Thank you
Thank you for every time
Every memories that we need
Someone that we can feel
And stay beside us
Thankyou for the grateful things were able to pass,
An everyday life in God
A promise not to be broken
An eternal life in peace
And a wonderful family
That stick through ups and down!

Three Micropoems by Anna Ferreiro

SKIN
Light
through the emerald gaze
Waves
through sound breathing
Rebirth
through the shell sweat
Kiss
shy flatterer
silky
his sweet touch
in a marine caress
deep
in painted velvet.
A DREAM
It's an enchanted place
between a fairy cloak
by creatures esteemed
and much appreciated!
It is a meadow in a desert
such a merry stream
that long-awaited heart
between flowers and lots of love
the Life that never dies!
LEAVES
The colors of Life
all in chorus towards the East
they tell stories
scents of laughter
waves of big kisses
immortalized shots
in the color of the leaves.
Leaves in love that feed on love
painting in elegance
the scent of eyes:
colors in love
shy and charming.

Three Micropoems by Chakradhar Shukla [India], Translated From Hindi by Dr. Shailesh Gupta Veer [India]

Wish  we could   grow
wheat   in pots
along with flowers,
Would be useful
for the birds!

Convenience charge
is creating
dilemma,
The glacier of
honesty is
melting!

Who cast
a spell in prayer,
My mind is
filled with
happiness!
