Three Micropoems by Zdenka Mlinar

HOPE

February and March
with the face of a woman...
Spring awakens,
giving birth to light,
new life, and HOPE.

BELIEF

With a carnival celebration,
we send winter off
and drive away the evil from the town.
A tradition of belief,
for healing and comfort.

PRAYER

Forest nymphs
call for spring,
folding their hands
and praying for health
for Mother Earth.
They seek faith in disbelief.

Two Micropoems by Zdenka Mlinar

I Ask
The time of the coronavirus and vaccines
Confusion, pain, tears and losses...
Is there an end to this plague and affairs?
I ask while new affairs wash over us,
While the evil sowers announce new plagues.
Wars Are the Worst
Crystal glaciers are melting,
Emerald rivers are drying up,
Mountains and the strongest cliffs are crumling...
The Earth, wounded and sad, says:
My children, wars are the worst, the worst!

Three Micropoems by Zdenka Mlinar : Environment Special

Oh God
There is no sowing of native fields,
Nor the sowing of love.
From the Mother's womb, evil arises...
Oh, God, save the man;
Save him from the inhumane!

Wonder
I look, and I wonder:
Am I worthy of You,
How much did I wrong You
How much did I hurt You?
Plain, mountain, river...

To Mankind
Please show some respect, people!
Respect the greatness of the universe,
Respect his generosity,
Give respect to nature's beauty...
People! Respect, PLEASE!

Three Micropoems on Love by Zdenka Mlinar

TIME FOR LOVE
The month of February, they say,
A time of awakening and joy,
Time for love...
It's you and me, honey
whole life joy,
And our whole life love.

WE LIVE LOVE
It smells like spring,
Dreams come true,
Wishes are multiplying...
Therefore, love we live,
We just follow her.
With blue birds,
We fly in the sky!

YOU AND ME
You are me and I am you,
From an early age
Until these days...
It will be because of us
And time to stop,
So that you and I,
In it they could
Shine and shine...!

I Can't Forget, A Micropoem by Zdenka Mlinar

I can't forget and never will
Our escape from the war
without you,
I can't forget your faith
In people who were so evil
I can't, oh star of our sky,
Because today
more than ever,
I need that faith!
