Three Micropoems by Adriana Claudia Rocha Gomez

The Drop of Ink
I heard you were awake,
after all this time
for you I still wait,
I did not know
you were the drop of ink
my poetry needs!
Moonlight
Like the moon
I possess
a light,
that shines
at night!
Kiss
He kissed me
Like that
Because -
He needed to know
I am his!

The Offsprings, a Micropoem by Jaipreet Grover

Fruits, flowers and leaves
Being the offsprings of the tree
Falls in the lap of Mother Earth
A tribute of gratitude
For the love and nourishment
Right from loving a seed!

☆ Stoianka Boianova
[Sofia, Bulgaria]
The sky climbs down
Countless snowflakes are falling
With starry shapes!
Freedom of flight
The snowflake chooses its way
From heaven to earth!
Winter night
Snowy angels are keeping
The dream of the world!

☆ Dr. Shailesh Gupta Veer
[Fatehpur, UP, India]
I looked out of the window
The fog was spreading own wings
and the dew was dallying
It was too much cold in the moon light
I missed her so much whole night!

☆ Debashree Basak
[Sunnyvale, California, US]
The winter arrives as a ballerina
Her chilled winds twist in pirouettes
Her earthen branches
Resplendent in pristine white gown
Poised to display grace!

☆ Minko Tanev
[Sofia, Bulgaria]
Snow fields
in the windows of the train
Sun from opal!
Distant railroad
A sharp whistle is cutting
The snow forest!
snow whirlwind
of the ring road
local residents with sticks
are catching snowflakes
fulfilled the air!

☆ Ranjana Kashyap
[Himachal Pradesh, India]
Mother Nature is
going to change her attire,
She will wear
garland of white flowers!
She will wear
white dress of snow,
And crown of icicles,
Like a beautiful Queen of Snow!
Those moments of winters are still special
When in the snowflakes your face was visible!
I used to feel them on my face,
Even though you were away from me,
But this is how I could feel your embrace!

☆ Tanja Ajtic
[Vancouver, Canada]
Everything has turned upside down,
stirred up this winter
I'm searching for you at night
discerning a reflection somewhere of what has been!

☆ Jaipreet Grover
[Maharashtra, India]
Frozen
Like a vanilla cake
Carpet of snow
Or a blanket of sugar
Each one makes a
Perfect winter
Like in a Fairy tale!
With the carpet of snow
The Earth is numbed
A glimpse of Sun’s smile
Is enough to make
Her emotions flow
And activate her senses!

☆ Mary Steffen
[North English, Iowa, US]
Dawn of winter
Storm has come
Living to see sunrise
Hope from the Great beyond
Love everywhere!

☆ Subhashchandra B. Adhav
[Shrirampur, Maharashtra, India]
Wintry night goes wild
Sun appears but feeble mild
Shivers His tender child
Its intense search for cozy shield!
Chilly winter freezes nerves
On curled up body awful curves
Warm heart honestly serves
Spirited mind's dashing verves!
Roofs hidden under the cover of ice
Chilly winds give a feel nice
Birds shivering, frozen their voice
On frozen ground
a realm of ice!

☆ Aida G. Roque
[Dver, Delaware, US]
The serene blue sky got pregnant
Bitter cold wind start swirling snow flakes
Temperature dropped down below zero
God open the bloated serene blue sky
And gave birth to a winter month!

☆ Rachana Sood
[Delhi, India]
In her heart stays white winter
everything cold
every emotion covered in snow
Someone took her spring
and now it's white winters...
The only season she knows!
