Eight Modern Haiku by Jennifer Gurney

gazing at the moon
in perfect balance
between Earth and sky

I still can't believe
you are gone-
each day I let go anew

books
at my bedside-
a lengthy queue

my next tattoo
will be over my heart -
Picasso's dove

shining stars
dancing in the moonlight
against the night sky

my mom’s handwriting
brings memories to light of
words unspoken

green to yellow
to red to ground-
the life of a leaf

when my reach
outstretches my grasp-
I touch possibility

Five Micropoems by Parvinder Nagi

Exactly
My love needs no validations
As you’ll find me waiting for you exactly where once you’d left me!

Narrow Paths
Walking along with you
on the lonely roads
Through the narrow paths of life
Makes the destinations closer!

Over the Seas
Your silence can be heard
Over the seas so blue
For your love resides
In the abyss of my heart!

Mist of Nights
I crave for the lust of hug
To perish in your arms so warm
In the mist of nights
Lying under the stars forever!

Sweet Pain
If only you knew
The depth of your love
Is a depth of my wounds today
Penetrating through my skin
Is the sweet pain!

War
Smile not exist
Happiness is stopped
Hungry stomach
Hungry soul!

Enough
Tired from the bodies
That are affraid of their shadows,
I would like to have a man

In power of love!

Four Micropoems by Neha Bhandarkar

Love-tune
The dawn, dreaming of Sunrise
The Sun dancing on a love-tune
Fresh rays of hope
is kissing the sand-dunes!

Que of Gratitude
Shut the window of complaints
Try to shift you in que of Gratitude
Now a days human needs virtue!

Still
The lightly dangling
of the fringe of air
seems dwelling
still in the sky, there!

Hide and Seek
In the universe
Slumber is playing hide and seek
taking shapes of dreams
with hushed steps
In the night.

Six Micropoems by Taghrid Bou Merhi

Like a Cloud
A question jumps over a question
Like a cloud
flapping their shadow across me
My alter ego
in the heights of places!

The Rose
Even in her illness
It smile
The rose of the heart!

Waiting
The time It has turned upsid down
Laughs dreamy
Waiting for his to get back!

He Knows
The wait
He complains about loneliness
And knows how much I love you!

Fragrance
Whatever
fragrance your smile might be
You won't bloom her flowers
Kiss details!

Imagination
In the imagination of the poets
A love embracing another love
Mooning poem!
