WE, a Micropoem by Debajani Das
Besides the two sides
Of seven chromal path
Lies the hut of our hearts
Where our breath transmits ever.....
Sometimes that rainbow
Turns into a river,
And touches
The wavy eternal love
Of ours.

Three Micropoems by Zdenka Mlinar
HOPE
February and March
with the face of a woman...
Spring awakens,
giving birth to light,
new life, and HOPE.
BELIEF
With a carnival celebration,
we send winter off
and drive away the evil from the town.
A tradition of belief,
for healing and comfort.
PRAYER
Forest nymphs
call for spring,
folding their hands
and praying for health
for Mother Earth.
They seek faith in disbelief.

Your kisses taste like a cool summer breeze

RARE FLOWER, a Micropoem by Angela Kosta
Lost
In vain I searched for a flower
That it had your sweet scent i came back empty-handed
And while I've seen you sleep
Spellbound
I understood that nothing and no one
Not even a rare flower, it would compare to your beauty
To your irresistible freshness.

Two Micropoems by Nasir Aijaz
In Search of Existence
When we met after quite a time
She asked: Where were you, I haven’t seen you for a long time
‘Am I not with you?’
‘Nowhere do I live, if you do not feel me living in your heart’, I said
And, since then I am in search of my ‘self’
The search of my existence continues.
□
Fear of Losing You
One day there was talk of death.
She immediately stopped and said ‘Don't talk like that’.
‘Are you scared of death?’ I asked.
Everyone has to demise
Death is inevitable
It’s reality of life
And I do not fear of dying.
‘I am not afraid of death either, I am afraid only of losing you, she said.
Nothing but losing you…!

Two Micropoems by Bharati Nayak
On Your Brows
On your brows
Wear a piece of my breath
Of my life
Take the days, months and years
Take the seconds, minutes and hours
And decorate your house
Oh dear, I will love to eternity.
□
Say Nothing
When you say
You do not say
When you do not say
You say
What I want to hear
The words come flying
And take me
In their embrace
I become your words
That I want to hear.

Four Micropoems by Donna McCabe
Only You...
Have the charm that ensnares me
That can stir the passions so deep
Lift me up when I'm so low
Be the solid ground beneath my feet
And love me the way you do.
□
Love's Whispers
The shadows of love still reside here
The place where romance was shared
Kisses and sweet nothings whispered
Endearing tokens of love received
Two hearts that truly cared.
□
Love
Lost in the moment
Overcome with emotions
Veritable pleasures of affections
Everyone experiences with loved ones.
□
Glowing
You make my heart pound
And my soul glow
Spark passions of delicious delight
My spirit ascends
In the most intimate of embraces.

Four Micropoems by Vatsala Radhakeesoon
My First Love
We played with letters
Abundant
in some deep ways
You, with your midnight facts
Me, with creative lines
A bridge of love- intellect
sharpened the moon
of endless hearts.
□
Attraction-swift
Too good to be true,
the mirror changed its reflection
We cherished fragments
of magnetism
in memories- locked
of sheer passion
Un-tabooed in fantasies.
□
The Balance
In your eyes
I sail endless times
When I fear the insane drown
You lift me
kissing my soul
with calmness
of healing love - you.
□
Wholesomeness
Swirls of lavender blue fumes
Dream or real
I wake up
upon souls of twinflameship
Lost
Recognized
Found
We heal day by day.
□

Eight Micropoems by Jennifer Gurney
here a brief moment
wound your heart around mine
then gone
I am
unraveled
***
the song’s end
hung in silent air
connected to our heartstrings
tether only broken
by erupting applause
***
a poem softly lands
on my open heart
gentle, in the moonlight
***
walking beside you
the sound of your voice
streaming in my heart
***
your light shines bright
trailing love glitter
wherever you go
***
you leave
a constant stream of love
in your wake
***
even after
divorce papers are signed
my heart claims you.
***
that moment
of push-me-pull-you ness
knowing I need to
finding it impossible
to let you go
***

Two Micropoems by Eva Petropoulou Lianou
I Wish Many Times
Sky above my head
Birds are flying
I believe birds don't have to fight for their country
If they want to travel
They travel freely
Trees are everywhere
Water they can find
How beautiful is nature
Peace exists
I wish many times to be a bird.
□
Love
We are not remember our selves
We looked eachother and
A sparkle begins
I knew
You knew
Our new selves are ready to fall in love
With no expectations.

Four Micropoems by Nolcha Fox
Frosted
I fill in what I cannot see
with my dark imagination.
Back light lets me guess the tale
behind your hidden features.
If only I could see you whole,
I’d probably be quite bored.
Daylight takes the mystery,
and leaves the moles
and pimples.
***
Mona Lisa
She sits so still and watches all
the people in the room.
Some distracted, some agog
at her eternal beauty.
She is preserved with gas
and glass to keep her ever lovely.
Her smile is no mystery.
She knows it’s almost closing.
***
That Second One
Of all the boats lined up to float
upon the tiny river,
I’d love that second one
to let me bob in end of summer.
Soon the winds will blow, and all
the boats will drift to cover.
They’ll reappear when spring
begins parades of boats
through water.
***
Follow the Trail
If you want me,
follow the mascara tears,
pumps filled with
blisters and calluses,
fake diamond rings,
cheap drugstore perfume,
and a misplaced wallet.
Do you like what you see
when I’m ordinary me?
***

Two Micropoems by Eva Petropoulou Lianou
Strange Days
Strange days
Strange behaviour
People are not going to correct direction
Like birds or whales
They lost their orientation
They are killing eachother
THey are jealous
They don't want the best of the neighbor
Earth is tired of humans.
War
The first word
Babies said before they walk in
Palestine
Shame to this humanity
How can you be happy
When in the other side
THey are sacrifing babies
Thousands babies
Pray for the souls of the innocents.
