Five Micropoems on Love by Jaipreet Grover

VALENTINE

You will be mine

In every Valentine

I promised her heart

With my “Love Sign!”

GIFT

Chocolates, gifts, and flowers

Gifts for all lovers

But my precious gift

Cosily resides

In your heart merrily!

LOVE RAIN

The month of love

Has come again

To make us drench

In the ”Love Rain”

With an amorous song

In our youthful lane!

STONE Each stone Evinces its story Glitters to allure But the heart could see The rainbow of love In the presence of love stone Rose-Quartz! □

IN LOVE Drown in love With your love As deep as an ocean Sans your identity!

The Offsprings, a Micropoem by Jaipreet Grover

Fruits, flowers and leaves
Being the offsprings of the tree
Falls in the lap of Mother Earth
A tribute of gratitude
For the love and nourishment
Right from loving a seed!

Micropoems by Jaipreet Grover

Pearls
I drank my tears
To hide my pain,
But the ocean of tears
overflows the heart
To activate the soul
Made pearls of lessons
To buckle up for a beautiful beginning!

Thorns
I tried to uproot
Thorns of pain
From the garden of my heart
But the flower of love said,
Touch me not!

Heartbeats
My heartbeats
Fast with fear
Faster with a strenuous workout
And fastest
With your one glimpse!

Micropoems on Light

● Jyotirmaya Thakur [United Kingdom]
I stood and watched
The day unfold in morning light
Like petals of a flower
Pushed by wind power!
Twilight caught the breeze
As Sun was setting
On the wings of birds
The light was sleeping
Leaving the sandy shores behind!

● Mir Samsul Haque [India]
I'm ablaze sulkily for thousand twilight's
Her scarce arrival puts me in the ignition of fiercely flame
Oh, luminous luna you may cognize the pinches of my heart
You aflame all alone on the azure veil
Be a witness of my lonely griefs!

● Lilian Woo [Malaysia]
Glorious morning
The sun flashes vibrant light
Brighten up the day
The glow of blooming blossoms
Is emitting sweet fragrance.
[Tanka: 5-7-5-7-7]
crimson rays of light
let it shine, light up your life
bless with happiness.
[Haiku: 5-7-5]

● Ranjana Kashyap [India]
It's a bright waking night!
Tonight is the festival of lamps,
The sky is showering the stars,
But I was unaware ;
One day for us in the pavement of my heart,
So many lamps of love will light up,
One day life will be so bright with your love,
I was so unaware of this!

● Jaipreet Grover [India]
Seen or unseen
Illuminates with celestial rays
The power of phosporescent inner light
Is bestowed by the divine light
To enlighten your True Self
Just use it wise!

● Nishat Jabeen [Saudi Arabia]
My truth is in the clasp of gloomy despair
O' Lord of the all Heavens pass a command to the universal lamp
Sprinkle a little more twinkles
And shimmer not just to the dusky countenance
But enlighten to my shadowy existence.

● Jyoti Nair [India]
Sugar maples scamper into our porticos,
drenched in orange-ostentatious conundrums,
ambling through our variegated lives...
our lives; these anagrams of 'abendrot' vine-longings!
[ *Abendrot, is a German word; it means evening red, sunset glow, sunset-light, purple light, afterglow, sunset.]

● Maid Corbic [Bosnia and Herzegovina]
Lightness into the darkness place
Nature brings always new emotions
Which take this place full of charm
And nobody can say that it is illusion
Since we live into the present stage!

● Sumil Sharma [India]
In my darkest sleepless nights
Her touch gives me the courage to see the light
To stand against the fear and fight
Through the gloomy night
And finally see the sight of the light
A Mother's Touch, the perpetual might.

The Tiger, A Micropoem by Jaipreet Grover

I was just a common tiger
Desire to gulp you
For years absorbed in penance
But, you freed me
Made me your vehicle
My head bows for Goddess Durga, fervently for you!

Five Questionku by Jaipreet Grover

She runs the world
Gives birth to all lives
Why does she need to prove?
Move with one step
At a time in life
Why to rush for success?
Kids are angels
Lit up every home
Do we need just a son?
Nature blossoms
Give treasures sans break
What’s your contribution?
Flashy is smart
Makes castles atop
Why for sleep comfort tops?

A Questionku Poem by Jaipreet Grover

Twinkling bright stars
Beautifies the sky
Then why wish for their fall?

Micropoems by Jaipreet Grover

Sparkling Eyes
My sparkling eyes -
Speaks a lot
Giving wings to my dreams
To fly high in the infinite sky;
And I embellish them
With the shiny black kohl
To hide fears of uncertainty!
Chain of Happiness
Let’s make a chain,
To break the chain
of worries and melancholy,
By adding the pearls
of joy and zeal,
In the infinite
Chain of Happiness!
'Real Me'
Don’t judge only
my poems solely,
Judge my scuffles
and the strenuous journey,
Before making
any perception about me.
Before judging
You should know
'Real Me'.
Invisible Power
His invisible power
propels me to believe
in the pious prayer,
As I see miracles
every day
to the ones who
sows the seeds of humanity
every day!
