Seven Modern Haiku by Jennifer Gurney
setting the table
touching the bruise
every single time
***
worst nightmare
our world
without you in it
***
looking for you
in every nook and cranny
grief hide and seek....
***
the spaces in my heart
carved out just for you
forever
***
looking up
the mountains call to me
whispering memories in the river's song
***
surrounded by
every book I have ever loved
requited
***
oh for a hot summer day
when the itch of mosquito bites
is my only care

WE, a Micropoem by Debajani Das
Besides the two sides
Of seven chromal path
Lies the hut of our hearts
Where our breath transmits ever.....
Sometimes that rainbow
Turns into a river,
And touches
The wavy eternal love
Of ours.

Three Micropoems by Zdenka Mlinar
HOPE
February and March
with the face of a woman...
Spring awakens,
giving birth to light,
new life, and HOPE.
BELIEF
With a carnival celebration,
we send winter off
and drive away the evil from the town.
A tradition of belief,
for healing and comfort.
PRAYER
Forest nymphs
call for spring,
folding their hands
and praying for health
for Mother Earth.
They seek faith in disbelief.
