Five Micropoems by Donna McCabe

Regeneration
New seeds of hope growing
Blooming and blossoming from within
Reshaping and reforming
Building stronger structures and roots
Within as without
The true essence of a woman.

Rainy Days
A bright flash of colour
Grey rainy days brightened briefly
Small comforts of an umbrella.

Mindful Insight
A veritable picture show
Of imaginary or recollected scenes
Ideas and epiphanies
All seen and felt
Deep within the minds eye.

Rumours
Those rumours stung deep
The grapevine
A harsh place to listen
I wish I hadn't
Truth or not in the whisperings...!

Pluviophile
Outstretched hand
Cupping falling rain
The sound so soothing
Finding peace and joy
On the rainy evening...!
