Micropoems by Aruna Lakra

Autumn
I was green and beautiful
My youth bloomed in the spring
Then came the gentle autumn
Every leaf was a flower crowned
My strength crumpled to the ground
Identity beautifully passes into grey ashes.
Flood
Heavens have raged
Nature has outraged
Human the annoyer
Blaming the gods as destroyer
Flood water covers the earth
Hope wisdom takes new birth.
Love
Strong hands  holding tight
Fear and worry out of sight
Your love is my strength and anchor
Together we will fight and conquer
Life's journey has taken its flight
Even though destination is not so bright.
