Micropoems by Rajashree Mohapatra

Art
He paints his passions
with colours of emotions
he knows,
love is nothing
but a fine art,
and art is a part
of our heart!

Phrases
Phrases remind time,
place and events
Despite we speak
different languages
Cautions us against crude misunderstandings and fight
And induces us
to be adorable!

A Snare
Thorns smile
dead butterflies
on carpet of grass
all promises are-
a snare
Meteors flash on wasteland!

A Tune
condensed vapours
pour into rain
a river plays a tune
the morning sky beams
lives sing in rhythms.

Self
when the mind is restrained
attaines quietude
self sees the self
satisfied by his own self
transcends the senses!

In Suffocation
My dreams hop
throughout the night
Wish they never stop
Else life may strangulate
In suffocation!

Life
A stone wall
silently stands
hiding the secrets of
a sobbing river
In a tangled jungle
of human illusions,
life is so complicated!

Quicksand
Between the waves
In an empty space
Our forgotten memories
Drowning in quicksand
Inside me your existence.

A Hero
All are not just
Life may takes a turn
May include wars
Tragedy and sorrow
But for every enemy
there is definitely a hero.

Behind The Fall of Life
A storm of revolt rises
into the tranquil mind of sea.
Your anger soars up to
toss vortex of love
Lives are trapped in the wreck,
The boat of life sinks
into the labyrinthine chasm
trailing behind the fall of life.

Micropoems by Balachandran Nair

Home
Left or left in a Home out of hunger
In young age is called Orphanage.
Left or left in a Home out of neglect
In old age is called Old Age Home!
Scent
One day quarrel is
one percent of love lost
That rendered me speechless
for two days.
How much days will it
take to talk it out
Remaining ninety nine
percentage of love!
Leave
I left home
after a tongue fight and bark
Rounded the house
twice and came back
She left home
after a silly ego fight, crying
I searched for her
the whole life in vain.
Quote
Wear a coat that
suit your boot
Wear not a boot that
hurt your brain
Live with the wife
who know your worth
Leave the Other
who pocket your wealth!

Micropoems by Ayub Khawar

A Request
O! My princess,
Listen,
For a moment,
Close your enchanting eyes gently,
Bending with the mildness of breeze,
I wish to steal a poem,
From these distinct rosy lips.
A Ruined Wait
There exists
only reflection
Of the same mirror,
My love
And the Bafflement of your other lovers.
This Bafflement will exist
Till the mirror breaks,
Till the cords of life
Are released
from our hands.
Anxiety
You say
I should compose a poem,
And shackle my secret with chains of verses;
But I have a verdict
That the secret
Wrapped in pain,
And sunk in grief,
Smitten with anguish,
Who knows how many
Meanings they will derive.
Have you ever ponder?

Micropoems by Emmanuel Mettles

Rain
Drops of yonder blues,
Dazzling glues,
Dissolving earth's woes!
Advice
Piece of peace
Appeasing and pleasing
A piece of life that brings-
Glee!
Woods
Virginity of Earth
Entrapped amidst birth and death
Withering mirth.
Love
Oh dear bud donot trust the dew,
Glowing on the tender stalk
For no dew stays for long!
Night
Silence of the expelled sun,
Silence of the birds,
Scents of night blossoms,
Sweetness of starysky.

Micropoems by Karil Anand

Savitri
She conquers
the consciousness of Indian minds
She beholds virtuosity and nobleness
Her bright enchanted safe peripheries
Her imperial divinity
stood to crampled mould
Of the human sheath
and its poverty of form
Her chastity is the ornament
that every female should adorn.

Expedition
My quest for love is
like a bleeding heart
Cut with many sharp blades
Love is like a dark night
Murky Cimmerian shade
Sound of love is like dagger
Engraved in the heart!

Micropoems by Naheed Akhtar

I Enquired
I said,
"I remembered you.",
But Iater thought
"Did I really need to do that?",
Since I get you inevitably
Being picturised
On the screen of my brain!
Soul and Body
You
Would find me
Where
You are!
[Though
I might appear
Here
To external eyes]
Gogyohka
The heart finds the door to reach
Through its own truthfulness to love
Through its selflessness to adore
It needs not to behold the one it worships
It gets the one beyond the physical!
The enlightenment
Like a stream wandering
Broken of the river
The spirit whole and sole, wanders
Broken of the form
Wanders but not lost
Proclaims its search
Its search for what it wanders:
The glimpse
The light
The being
The enlightenment
Beyond the physical!

Gogyohka by Elizabeth Maranan Cahimbing

Rigid
am so rigid
you always say
breaking rules
opted to your wish
isn't enough yet?
Smile
a smile can melt your heart
so precious and pleasant
quite encouraging
behind the smile there's a hidden secret
a cries of anguish inside!
Safety Bond
sisters tie a thread
to brother's wrist
pray for his long life
he returns a token of love
a safety bond of closeness!
Come back
am glad
you're back
my worries subside
miss you much
heart rejoices at your return!
Endurance
physical and mind endurance
to withstand hardship
or life's adversity
reflect a consistency of style
sustain strength and agility

Micropoems by Gurjeet Kour Ghuman

Thump
Echoes of firm thump
of braves feet
Deceitful enemy
feel the heat
Before retreat
gifted enemy
stack of wreath!
Pretense
Under the pretense of freedom
Truth prevails seldom
Evil world we live in
Here humanity held for ransom!
Fear
Life is weelittle song to sing, lyrics drift downhill.
Melancholic tunes resonate across the hill.
Fear never comes out of chest.
Aggrieved souls laid to rest.
Spring Is Near
Herald of life spring is near
Mother nature's fair
Nature's way to flaunt it's flair
Meadows come to life,
riot of colour appear!
Ocean of Love
Placid ocean of love floats towards me
Beloved mine, you cast spell on me
Our souls touched in ecstasy charm
I flew in your cozy arms!

Micropoems by Dr. Govindprasad S Kushwaha

God’s Breathe
It is God
Who commands
The wind
With a breath,
Of his own breath
And then
Filled the sail
Where
It was empty,
And emptied
where
It was full.
And Yet Again
Must I need
Linger in love
Until all these
Green things
Turn yellow
And then
Naked again,
And yet again.
Silent Promise
Oh my dear
There lurks dawn
In your eyes,
And in those eyes
And in that dawn
Is the silent mystery
Of deep night and
The silent promise
Of bright day.
Godly Childhood
Godly was
My childhood
No desire and
Envy find
And sensed no
sick mind.
Passions have
No tongue,
Such was
My age young.
Time Transitory
In our life
Joys and anguish
And fears
Are mixed
Time waits
For none
But speeds
In its way
Ends dark night
And the dawn
On its way.
Without End
Since I met you
Find my life
Fret free,
My heart
Ever longs in glee
To live happily,
Without end,
And finally
Fated to meet
The blissful end.
Sandy Wind
This world
Transitory,
Exist grand.
Embrace me
Like desert’s
Sandy wind.
Faint my eyes
The lot looks
Sallow,
Lost the sight,
Which way
To follow.

Micropoems by Houda Boukassoula

Without Feathers
A dispassionate dream
That flies without feathers
Looking for a better somewhere
Where a bird and a fly
Share with jets the same sky!
Breathe
Breathe love
in with all your senses
Let them taste all its senses
In your life
lengthen its presence
Never breathe it
in reverse!
Daddy
The day You left
I was only eight
Still unable to forget
How I acquired self reliance
When you suddenly left
Without leaving a reference!

Micropoems by Ranjana Kashyap

I Can Feel
The minefields of memory are so deep
Few bunches of flowers I kept,
Again feelings are ready to explode,
Still I can feel those lovely moments,
When we met!

Rainbow
Sometimes separation is must
That's important for growth,
For the rainbow of progress,
But there must be a promise for-
life time best friends!!

Memories
Whenever
I see the swing memories flash,
Those burning hot days,
We used to play,
pressure of study,
We never bothered!!

Childhood 1
Childhood fantasy
Love for fairytales
Wanted to wear-
the pendent of moon,
Wanted to live-
in the imaginative fairy land!!

Childhood 2
From childhood to teen,
spring and rain ,
Teen to Adult
Childhood is the best!
Now I sit on swing and miss the time ,
Passed and it will never back again!!

Micropoems by Sihem Cherif

Spark
Fumbling the spark in my core
I headed to the remote shore
what fervently has ignited in me
The gleam of the lonely tree?
It is that shining little spark
leading my blurry way in the dark!

Just Need
I do not need your "Wells"
and your "wherefores."
I just need your vessel
l driving me to your beamish shores,
when tired of knobbing
Do not try to smear doors!

Spirit
Be my Zorba
teach me to speak with words
My tongue has gone astray Each rhythm lulls a shallow spirit
Wading in the sky!

Euphoric Sea
All at once
I had a glance at thee
Little squeamish hussy
Dazzled with the blue in your eyes
As pure my euphoric sea!

Micropoems by Nishat Jabeen

Fly High
A top fringe
May terrorize you
To glide your wings
Indeed!
There is a probability to fall down
But a thousand possibilities
Where you can learn to fly high...
Who Am I?
An eternal quest
That deepens my desperation
To know- Who am I ?
To facilitate a rest to my soul
Let others get their goals
With their service best!
Passion
Before this enthusiastic age
Turns and throws
Into the confabulation
One must revive and reactivate
His dozing intentions
Life isn't about perfection
Albeit learn without
dropping passion
Capture its real essence
Before it gets too late!

Micropoems by Mir Samsul Haque

Rainbow of Raptures
An empty mind
Like a lidless bottle
Fill it with ink of ideas
And see the cerulean sky
Bedecked with rainbow of raptures!

Who Am I?
Many a quaint querry
End up like the clash of Titans
O' dear life...
Outpacing a mortal a surfeit of strife
One who's been outlived through times
Can delineate the tag-
Who am I?

Harmony
daylong strife
for a passionate poet
simple harmony!

Silent Sighs
Silent sighs
Scribble
A moving narrative
Of two loving hearts!

Micropoems by Gigi Mejri

Ode to My Bag
On my shoulders
I carried you
For so long
bitter-sweet burden
Holder of knowledge
tracing my destiny
I owe you my identity
You owe me an apology
Oh, bag!
you deserve a eulogy!
Spring
Oh, Spring! I heard you said
Wake up beauty, winter is dead
Are you celebrating winter's last breath?
Yes, my arrival is awaited rebirth
It's nature awakening and wedding
All in colourful dress,
God bless!
If Not Me
Without thinking twice a snail
I would be
carrying my house on my back,
carefree
Walking slowly at my own pace
Challenging time of haste and technology!
Tinge
When our eyes meet
I detect a tinge
Telling whether you are
Sad or glad
And tinged become my word
According to your world!

Four Micropoems by Nolcha Fox

Frosted I fill in what I cannot see with my dark imagination. Back light lets me guess the tale behind your hidden features. If only I could...
