Five Haiku by Alok Mishra

cloudy firmament -
the pink lotus is blooming
in rippling water!
smoky surrounndings -
a little sparrow is struggling
for its existence!
resplendent morning -
ocean’s waves are rejoicing
after gloomy night!
colourful vast sky-
reflected sound of cuckoo
gladdens gloomy heart!
sunny surroundings-
thirsty panting land begs for
heavenly shower!
