Micropoems by Taghrid Bou Merhi

Heavy Tears
The departure came
It collected the old bags
And left behind its absence
And the Mirage
And the heavy tears…!
Breath
I came
holding with me
A picture of your brown face
That carry your good breath
In a smell of delicious waiting!
Perched on a Flower
This is Me
Like a bee celebrating her feat,
Or a butterfly perched on a flower,
I am a child of life
and the tree of love...!
Drowsy Eyes
Before the drowsy eyes sleep
Come, hug me and kiss me
To awaken the pulses
And sweeten the nighttime…!
All My Love
Like a moody bird
flying in dreamy evenings,
I loved you
With all the passion and longing
And despite the vastness of the universe
This universe can't hold
all my love for you...!

Four Micropoems by Nolcha Fox

Frosted I fill in what I cannot see with my dark imagination. Back light lets me guess the tale behind your hidden features. If only I could...
