Three Haiku by Tohm Bakelas

blow smoke at the moon,  
hammer the sun in the sky,  
to live is to die!
□ 

i want to live where  
the weather is a steady  
sixty-four degrees!


pat’s cat has one eye—  
a bastard born for no one—  
now both are complete!

Tohm Bakelas is a social worker in a psychiatric hospital. He was born in New Jersey and resides there.
