Micropoems by Bernadette Reyes

Sunlight And Nightfall
I'll be your sunlight when you're gloomy
I'll be your moon and star at night
Dream of me when you slumber
See you again when morning comes
See you again when night falls
On canopy of crimson sky

Beak of Light
Hope is like a beak of light
That peak in a dark room
Gives inspiration to go on
in life full of wrenches,
Straighten out pathways!

Journey
Passing through this life is like a journey
I can see the two sides of the road
Decision on which road I may take
Wide roads or narrow?
Keeping my focus whatever it takes
Dying will not be worth less!

History
Let me see the end of a rainbow,
Where butterflies fluttering
around on vast valley of wildflowers
Where river flows freely
like fate and destiny!
