I often sneak up

Under the shadows

Chestnuts.

I need strength

Ours

Dreaming.

Let's meet

Again between

The stars.

Open heart

Awakened day

Elevated thought,

The joy of returning,

In town

Love…!

The hands are the same,

It's the same breath,

It's the same step.

Spilled tenderness

In the fields

Lavender.

Eminent Poetess Evica Kraljić was born in Nova Gradiška. She wrote her first song at the age of twelve. The first independent collection of poems "Irreversible" was published by the National University of MAR Nova Gradiška in 1978. The second independent collection of poems "Immersed in You", published in 1997, published by NG REVIJE d.o.o., Dragalić. The third independent collection - prose - "Mown Flowers", published in 2000, published by RKT Parish of the Immaculate Conception BDM.

An artistic and poetic map in which her verses were painted by the famous painter Tomislava Petranović-Rvat from Novi Grad was published in 2002. The fourth collection of poetry "U MIRNE SATE" was published in 2003 by Matica hrvatska Ogranak Nova Gradiška. The fifth collection of poetry "Between Touches and Dreams" was published in 2004 by Matica hrvatska, Nova Gradiška branch. The sixth collection of poetry "Hands of Memory", published in 2015 by Tiskara Arca d.o.o. He writes novels for the magazine - Gloria. She is represented in many joint collections with her works. She Awarded many times for prose and poetry. She received the CITY MEDAL - 2001, and the COAT OF ARMS - 2020.
